Trick or Treat!!!

I made my hairdo, skirt and minion costume, but not the gorilla...

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone!!! This year my son asked me if i can make him a minion costume for Halloween and here are the pictures of how it was made.

It took me 3 nights in a row just to make the paper mache for the head of the minion.
Before i used the duct tape to attached together the 2 1/2 inch thick foam i have to sew them first just like how you can see on the picture of how i attached the dome to the body of the costume.



I used the yellow and felt, sew them and 2 tin cans for the goggles, painted the Gru sign and there you go!!!

Starbucks drink charm

Here is one of the charms. I made last weekend. This is made out of polymer clay. The upper right corner picture if you noticed the label it's  written backwards, it is because I flipped the photo.

The "Minion cake", my son requested me to bake him a minion cake for his birthday. And, here it is....

         Today is the showing for the movie Despicable Me 2. My son loves watching the trailers for this movie and can't wait to watch the movie itself. As I lay down already for the night, I thought it would be nice to surprise my son in the morning with a minion keychain. So, i went to my craft room and made this minion. In this photo, I haven't baked this one yet. (I will have to post another picture for that).

                                           

   

                               

 

Adam's First Holy Communion

Hello everyone, today was a very exciting day for my son. It is their  Wax Museum day which they portray somebody who made a difference in our lives. My son chose Percy Spencer who invented the microwave oven by accident. 

For his presentation, I made this project as his props. Percy Spencer invented the first microwave oven after World War II from radar technology developed during the war. Named the "Radarange", it was first sold in 1947.

I know it's a late post but here it is... My son had his First Holy Communion 2 weeks ago and for the party favors I decided to have the rosary bracelets. 

neatly placed in a white organza bag
