This weekend was so cold that staying indoor was the best choice. I was able to squeeze a little time for crafting.

Glass Etching
My first time to make a project using the technique of glass etching. Using my cricut for making the stencils, makes it a lot easier.
Here are some photos of my project for St. Patrick's day

Birthday card
Hi~ello Bloggers! here is a birthday card for my cousin who turned 18. I used the Glitter Stack by DCWV as the background and added this very gorgeous polka-dot flower by the yard strip on the lower area. Embossed the sentiment and cut using the Spellbinders Fancy Tags. At the end of the sentiment i hooked a Cinderella carriage charm that the recipient can use later on.

And, here is the gift tag i made that coordinates with the greeting card.

Keepsake
It's all in the details. A handmade gift is more precious than buying one, especially when memories are involved.

Pillow Cases for my little one
Lately i have been playing with my sewing machine. After i made the curtain with grommets, i was gonna put my sewing machine away and here comes the coupon from one of my favorite stores that says, 50% off on fabrics. So, i found this nice fabric and decided to sew a pillow case for my son. My son was so happy about it especially when he saw the prints of the different kinds of aircrafts.

Curtain using grommets
Over the weekend Labor day holiday, i decided to sew this beautiful curtain for my bedroom, while my husband is painting the wall. Here i used grommets and at first i thought it will be so hard but its not. I layered it as well to have the professional feel as well as the look of it...
the window still looks bare but just for posting purposes of the project i made. the room is not done yet.
this shot is just to show you that the curtain is layered.
Not sure why in these pictures, my wall color looks like lilac but its actually called Mystic Gray.

HiEllo everyone, here is another notepad I did for a friend of ours. I decorated the front cover with a couple of embelishments i found by my scraps, used my Zutter to attached the 1/2" Owires to the 50 index cards to create a pad (measured 3x5). I added different kinds of ribbons tied them up to the Owires. And tada!!!! :)
