Baptism candles

Baptism is the first sacrament we receive of the Seven Sacraments of the Christian church. One of the three symbols of baptism is the Candle which symbolizes "The Gift of Light" = the idea of living in darkness and then moving into the light.
This part of the baptism service is concerned with turning away from all that is wrong and facing the new life in Christ. 

Now, back to crafting. Here is the pictures of the baptism candles I made.

Front side of the candle.

Personalized with the child's name, date and place of baptism. You can opt not to have
photo of the child.
The candle is beautifully band with a blue sheer ribbon at the bottom.

Back side of the candle which have the image of a dove which
signifies the Holy Spirit.
Attached also is a gem stone crucifix.
